RMP60
The Renishaw RMP60 is a 63mm-diameter standard-accuracy radio-triggered probe featuring obstruction-free operation, long-range capability, and high resistance to interference. Designed specifically for large-scale, gantry, deep-cavity, and heavily obstructed machining applications, it serves as a radio-triggered alternative to the optical probe (OMP60).

Core Features and Applications
Workpiece Alignment
Automatic coordinate system establishment, eccentricity alignment, origin setting, and rotary axis calibration
Solves the challenges of clamping large or deep-cavity workpieces and addresses the low efficiency of manual measurement
In-Machine Inspection
In-process and post-processing measurement: outer diameter, inner diameter, steps, hole positions, flatness, deep cavities, and complex features
Real-time compensation for tool wear and thermal deformation, significantly reducing scrap rates
Process Control
Supports CPK statistics, stabilizes the manufacturing process, and reduces offline inspection and rework
Typical Applications
Large molds, heavy machinery, aerospace structural components, wind power / marine components
Environments with extensive internal machine obstructions where optical signals cannot penetrate
Core Advantages (Compared to Optical Probes)
No line-of-sight restrictions: Strong radio signal penetration, unaffected by machine columns, tool magazines, or workpiece obstructions; the top choice for deep cavities and large-scale machines
Stable long-range operation: 15m transmission range, suitable for gantry and large horizontal machining centers
Adjustable trigger force: Suitable for soft, thin-walled, and precision workpieces, preventing probe damage to parts
High Interference Resistance: FHSS frequency-hopping technology ensures no frequency conflicts and resistance to electromagnetic interference
Strong Compatibility: Directly upgrades and replaces older MP14/16/18 radio probes
Rugged and Durable: IPX8 rating + metal construction, suitable for harsh machining environments, with long service life and minimal maintenance
